Theme
The focus of this meeting will be to define what needs to be done between ICM-4 and January 2014 which is when GRUAN is expected to become fully operational. With less that 2 years to go through the 5 year implementation phase, it is imperative that we ensure that the milestones outlined in the GRUAN implementation plan (GCOS-134) are being met, and that the implementation plan is refined so that we remain on track for operational status in January 2014. The theme for the meeting will therefore be to clarify the expected status of GRUAN in January 2014, the current status of GRUAN, and what now needs to be done to evolve GRUAN from its current status to its expected future status.
