Abstract

The 2010 World Meteorological Organization (WMO) radiosonde intercomparison in Yangjiang,China (21°50’ N, 111°58’ E) has been reported in detail by Nash et al. (2011). Here we review resultsof the intercomparison and implications for the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) ReferenceUpper Air Network (GRUAN). Seven GRUAN scientists were involved in the intercomparison, and part of its objective was to provide support and advice to GRUAN.
