Each radiosounding set-up includes ballon, parachute, unwinder, string,  bamboo stick and the CFH//Intermet iMet-1-RSB +Modem M10 radiosonde like the pictures below. In addition to the CFH, coincident in  situ observations of aerosol and/or cloud particles can be performed by  the Compact Optical Backscatter AerosoL Detector (COBALD) instrument  from ETH-Zurich. Not that because of its cost, the COBALD sonde is not  added to every payload.
