For each GRUAN data product (GDP) a centralised processing centre (PC) is in charge of processing all data that is collected within GRUAN for a specific instrument. Typically, the staff of these data processing centres were involved in developing the data product.
The Lead Centre (LC) at Lindenberg Meteorological Observatory (DWD) is in charge of processing the data of the Vaisala RS92 and RS41 radiosondes. The GRUAN data processors for both data products were developed at the LC.
The data processor for the Meisei RS-11G and iMS-100 radiosondes was jointly developed by Meisei and Tateno (JMA), where the latter hosts the processing centre for both data products.
GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam has developed the GRUAN data processor for GNSS-PW and is in charge of processing all GNSS data collected at GRUAN sites.
The data product for the Modem M10 radiosonde is being developed as a joint effort by Modem and IPSL. The processing of the data will take place at IPSL.
