Environment around the station is built-up and surrounded by low-rise buildings, due to the proximity of an airfield. View around the station is relatively unobstructed, except in the east where there is a building of about 10 storeys located approximatel.

Tropical climate with abundant rainfall, high and uniform temperatures, and high humidity all year round
