The GRUAN radiosounding measurement program at Hong Kong has been certified by GRUAN, recognizing that the site's measurements fulfill the requirements for reference data quality. The site, which is operated by Hong Kong Observatory, joined GRUAN in 2020, and since then has been a steady provider of radiosoudings, ozonsoundings, stratospheric H2O soundings, and recently, GNSS-PW observations for GRUAN.
Hong Kong is the 17th site within the network to become GRUAN certified. We congratulate the team of the Hong Kong site on this proud achievement.
