The GRUAN radiosounding measurement program at Xilinhot has been GRUAN-certified, recognizing that the site's measurements fulfill the requirements for reference data quality. Xilinhot is the 15th site within the network to receive GRUAN certification. We congratulate the team of the Xilinhot site with this proud achievement.
At last week's ICM-16 (17-21 November 2025) in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, the certificate was formally handed over to Dr Zhang Peng, the director-general of the Meteorological Observation Center of CMA.
Xilinhot has been submitting data to GRUAN since 2024.
