The GRUAN radiosounding and GNSS measurement programs at Tenerife have been certified by GRUAN, recognizing that the site's measurements fulfill the requirements for reference data quality. Tenerife is the 16th site within the network to receive GRUAN certification. We congratulate the Tenerife-team with this proud achievement.
At last week's ICM-16 on Tenerife (17-21 November 2025 in Puerto de la Cruz), the certificate was handed over to the president of AEMET, María José Rallo, during the visit to the Güimar site where Tenerife's operational radiosoundings are performed.
Tenerife has been submitting data to GRUAN since 2018.
